Product Lines

Sales agency since October of 2000 calling upon automotive companies in the Detroit area. Experience selling the OEM's direct and several automotive Tiers within purchasing and engineering on early concept design through prototyping and eventually into production. I received a very solid footing early in my career when I started my sales endeavor with a company that had enormous capabilities from Injection molding up to 800 ton press size. We utilized our plastic capabilities to manufacture under the hood highly functional products in their applications,enormous insert and over molded applications. As our company progressed from a build to print with early involvement on application engineering to a black box design company producing complex functional assemblies. We designed and prototyped with the intent to manufacture these black box designed assemblies. Our capabilities included progressive stampings up to 1200ton, multi-slide, four slide, Bihler, fine blanking, roll forming and cold heading up to one inch. Vertically integrated tooling, heat treat and plating in-house. Strong emphasis on utilizing all these capabilities selling our customers synergistic assemblies.

I have been able to utilize my strong background over the past 23 years as a manufacturer representative with the other organizations that I represent to work on engineered types of products. This solid base has given me a strong knowledge on being able to present your capabilities to the customer.

Why do reps sometimes ask for upfront fees? Aren't they supposed to be 100% commission?

Upfront fees may be required when the rep has to expend time and effort to build your market or your channel.

Understand that a rep cannot afford to work speculatively for long periods, such as 6 months or longer, without any compensation. Sometimes such fees are considered as advances against future commissions.
