Clearing Temporary Internet Files (clearing your browser cache)
A simple way to clear your cache that works in many browsers is the hold down the Shift key and click the browser's Reload button. If that does not work, try holding down the Control key and clicking the browser's Reload button. For some browsers, you even have to hold down both Shift and Control while clicking the Reload button. If that still does not work, follow the specific instructions below:
Internet Explorer 8
- From the Safety menu in the upper right, click 'Delete Browsing History'.
- Check 'Temporary Internet files'.
- Click 'Delete'.
Internet Explorer 7
- Click the 'Tools' menu at the top of your browser, and select 'Internet Options.'
- Click on the "General" tab it if isn't selected already.
- Click 'Delete ...' under 'Browsing History.'
- Click 'Delete files ...' in the Temporary Internet Files section.
- Click 'Yes' to confirm.
- Click 'Close' at the bottom of the dialog box.'
- Click 'OK' to close the Internet Options window.
Internet Explorer 6
- Click the 'Tools' menu at the top of your browser, and select 'Internet Options.'
- Click on the "General" tab it if isn't selected already.
- Click 'Delete Files...' under 'Temporary Internet files.'
- Select 'Delete all offline content' by checking the box.
- Click 'Yes' to confirm.
- Click 'OK' to close the Internet Options window.
Firefox 3.5 for Windows
- From the 'Tools' menu, select 'Clear Recent History....'
- From the 'Time range to clear' drop-down menu, select 'Everything'.
- Click the down arrow next to 'Details' place a check mark in front of 'Cache'.
- Click 'Clear Now'.
Firefox 3 for Windows
- Click the 'Tools' menu at the top of your browser, and select 'Options.'
- Click 'Privacy.'
- Click 'Clear' next to 'Cache.'
- Click 'OK.'
Safari 3 and 4 on the Mac
- Click 'Safari' in the Application menu at the top of the screen and select 'Empty Cache.'
- Click 'Empty.'
Safari 3 and 4 on Windows
- Click the 'Edit' menu at the top of your browser, and select 'Empty Cache.'
- Click 'Empty.'

- Click on 'Settings.'
- Click on 'Web Internet.'
- Click on 'Clear My Footprint.'
- Select 'Which.'
- Click on 'Browser Cache.'
- Click on 'OK.'
